Glass tube can be heated directly. To use the glass tube correctly:

1. Tweezers shall be used to take the massive solid and put it into the glass tube. It is not allowed to drop the solid directly into the glass tube to prevent the bottom of the glass tube from cracking;

2. When the solution is filled, it shall not exceed 1 / 2 of the glass tube capacity, and when heated, it shall not exceed 1 / 3 of the glass tube capacity.

3. When dropping liquid into the glass tube with a burette, it cannot reach into the glass tube mouth;

4. When using the glass pipe tongs to take the glass pipe, the glass pipe tongs shall be sleeved from the bottom of the glass pipe to the upper part of the glass pipe. If the length of the glass pipe is divided into three equal parts, it is reasonable to nip the glass pipe within one third of the end close to the glass pipe mouth.
